Friday [Finally]-Inspiration 02

First things first. I’m on a journey. It will probably sound silly to you, but it’s important to me. It’s the journey of the ever-elusive “style”. I’m on a search to figure out what type of clothes I feel most comfortable in, that make me feel like my outward self matches the person I imagine and feel myself to be. You probably won’t be seeing me do any outfit posts anytime soon, but there’s another part of style that I’m working on right now. Hair. I have short (ish), wavy hair, and it has been through a million phases (which I’m not quite sure you’re ready to see yet), and I’m continuing to try things until I find something that really works. Luckily, I love the salon I go to, and they let me try anything I want. That also means when I have a hair appointment-like I do this weekend-I can’t get off the “Hair and Beauty” page of Pinterest. So, because it’s my blog, you get to see what I’m looking at…Maybe I’ll keep the blunt bob look and grow it out, maybe I’ll go shorter. Or maybe I’ll just make what I have a little more interesting with something asymmetrical. Who knows? But here are a sample of looks that are inspiring me right now.

So many choices, what’s a girl to do? #firstworldproblems I know, but if I can’t talk to you about anything I want on this blog, what’s the point?

Now. On to Friday business as usual. Here’s some inspiring things to read and watch.

This one is kind of in the middle of read and watch, but my photographer friend crush Andria Lindquist  is always releasing beautiful imagines, and this wedding was no exception.

To Watch:

I have a soft spot for farming. And for just a good human story. This story hits both of those.

“Big Business” can be creative too, and it’s good to see a car company stepping up its game.

And this one is just pretty, it’s got me thinking that we should document little parts of our everyday like this. It’s like Instagram, only way better.

We’re off for a weekend of filming and client meetings, with some time to relax here and there as well.
